Zazmo is a German fintech solution from Kassel that offers an innovative app for real-time splitting of group costs and liability risks for shared purchases or services (e.g., shared apartment costs), by distributing risk among users and avoiding advance payments. Originally launched as Zazter, Zazmo enables the formation of payment groups through a web application and app to fairly share costs and liability, and has also established a partnership with Stadtwerke Kassel for electricity/gas.
Virtual Child Traffic Study
In cooperation with the University of Düsseldorf, this VR app for the Oculus Rift was created. The behavior of children, adolescents, and adults in traffic is to be investigated. As part of a study, test subjects are tested who cross a street in virtual space, with the goal of not being hit by cars.
B3 Training VR Simulation
Within the framework of the B3 course held at the Hessian State Fire School, a VR simulation was developed in cooperation with the University of Kassel. Four different scenarios were focused on. These serve as training content for obtaining the group leader qualification in the professional fire department (full-time firefighters).
Fire Safety Simulation
The Fire Safety Simulation is a VR app for Android smartphones, which is used in hospitals for training fire safety measures. Through the method of procedural knowledge, hospital staff should learn the requirements of fire safety regulations. To this end, various scenarios are offered, which are intended to help the user make the right decision in every situation. A special guideline system playfully supports the learning process achieved.
